The Sub-Divisional Magistrate's court in Sambhal deliberated on the alleged illegal construction case involving Samajwadi Party MP Zia-ur Rahman Barq. The controversy centers around Barq's supposed construction of a house in Deepa Sarai without official permissions.
Initially noticed in December of last year, Barq allegedly built without an approved building plan, prompting several legal steps and hearings. His absence at the latest hearing did not halt proceedings, as his lawyer represented him.
SDM Chandra indicated that a report from the assistant town planner is under review, which is key to resolving the matter. A reminder will prompt the next hearing on June 26, when the court expects further developments.
