In a swift breakthrough, Hoshiarpur police cracked a blind murder case within 24 hours, arresting the principal accused and two accomplices involved in the crime. The case revolved around the murder of a young entrepreneur, Aryan, from Sehwan village, who was shot dead while traveling at night.
Investigations led to Aryan's cousin, Naveen, who initially painted a picture of an external attack. However, evidence exposed Naveen's involvement, fueled by business tensions as Aryan intended to open a competing shop. The murder weapon, an illegally obtained pistol, was linked to suppliers Gurmukh and Gurdeep.
The efficient police work, spearheaded by Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Malik and a dedicated investigation team, resulted in the recovery of crucial evidence, including the murder weapon and the vehicle used. The accused are now facing legal proceedings as the police continue their investigation.
