Acid Attack Shocks North Goa

A 17-year-old boy was severely injured following an acid attack by motorcycle-borne assailants in North Goa. The incident occurred on a Monday morning while the teenager was awaiting a bus in Dhargal village to commute to his school in Mapusa town.

The attackers fled the scene immediately after the heinous act. Local authorities rushed the boy first to the North Goa District Hospital in Mapusa. His condition necessitated a transfer to the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim, near Panaji.

Police have initiated an investigation to apprehend the culprits. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, fueling community unrest and prompting calls for swift justice.
