Parui, who was a neighbor of the victim, used chocolates to lure the child into a garden in Nagarukhra, where the crime took place. The parents, alerted by a concerned local who noticed their daughter's distress, filed a complaint that prompted police action.
Following a thorough investigation, Parui was arrested and charged with rape. The court's decision also included a financial penalty of Rs 25,000, marking a stern warning against such offenses. Justice has been served, offering some solace to the victim's family.
