Mumbai Extortion Drama: History-Sheeter Arrested
A history-sheeter and two accomplices were apprehended by Mumbai police for allegedly demanding Rs 5 lakh from construction workers and assaulting them. Accused Shehzad Malik, with a history of criminal cases, was arrested following a complaint by supervisor Sardar Sayyed. The trio is in police custody.

Mumbai police arrested a history-sheeter, Shehzad alias Sajju Malik, along with two others, for allegedly extorting Rs 5 lakh from construction workers and assaulting them, officials said on Monday.
The confrontation occurred when Malik and his accomplices approached Sardar Sayyed, a supervisor engaged in road repair work, demanding money and threatening disruptions. As tensions escalated, Sayyed and his team faced physical assault.
The incident led to the arrest of Malik and his associates under the Bharatiya Naya Sanhita provisions based on Sayyed's complaint. They are now in police custody pending further investigation.
