Having been active since 2013, XSS.is was a key global cybercrime hub. It specialized in the sale of malware, access to compromised systems, stolen data, and services related to ransomware, the report highlights.
Moreover, it included an encrypted Jabber messaging server, enhancing anonymous communication among cybercriminal entities, as outlined in the statement.
