The incident unraveled after a Doordarshan employee managed to evade an attempted robbery and promptly notified authorities. N Shashikumar, Police Commissioner, revealed that police nabbed Hussainsab Kanavalli, a notorious criminal connected to over 35 thefts across multiple states.

A pursuit led to a confrontation where Kanavalli escaped, prompting two gang members to flee. Sub-inspector Mallikarjun, citing self-defense, shot the suspects. The robbers reportedly coordinated via Instagram to avoid detection, as police continue their manhunt for Kanavalli.
