In a tragic incident, a pregnant teenage girl died after allegedly jumping from a third-floor terrace in Pooth Khurd, Northwest Delhi. The 17-year-old girl, eight months pregnant, was initially rushed to a nearby doctor before being referred to Bhagwati Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Hareshwar Swami revealed that the girl was living in a live-in relationship with a man named Pinku, a laborer from her native village in Bihar. Reports indicate that the relationship was marked by frequent abuse, culminating in the girl's desperate actions on July 19.

A case has been registered against the accused, Pinku, for abetment of suicide and sexual abuse under relevant sections of the law. Authorities are actively seeking the accused to bring him to justice and underscore the necessity of addressing coercive relationships and domestic violence.
