In a shocking incident, a shooting at a midtown Manhattan office building on Monday claimed the lives of at least three people, including an off-duty New York City police officer. The suspect, identified as Shane Tamura from Nevada, took his own life, according to sources.
Authorities discovered identification on Tamura's body, showing he had a concealed carry permit from Las Vegas. Emergency response teams, including the Fire Department of New York, arrived at the scene on Park Avenue around 6:30 pm, addressing immediate threats in a building housing top financial firms and the NFL. Witnesses inside reported hearing multiple gunshots, leading to scenes of panic.
