The Kalyan sessions court has rejected the bail application of Ranjit Bhuleshwar Jha on Wednesday. Jha, who is the brother of the prime accused Gokul Jha, was involved in an assault case concerning a woman receptionist at a local hospital.
The victim, strongly opposing the bail, appeared in court and submitted an affidavit stating concerns that Ranjit Jha's release could lead to further violence against her and her family. She expressed fears that his release might jeopardize the ongoing investigation and pressure witnesses.
