BJP MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat has raised alarms over increasing dog bite incidents in Delhi, advocating for the creation of shelters for stray dogs. Addressing the Lok Sabha during Zero Hour, Sehrawat highlighted that local media reports are rife with such cases.

She expressed concern over a troubling rise in dog bite incidents, citing a recent attack on a six-year-old girl and an elderly person in a DDA park. Reports from Safdarjung Hospital indicate a dramatic increase in cases, with numbers climbing from 63,600 in 2021 to 90,000 within the first seven months of 2025.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is pressing the government for clarity regarding financial aid provided to Himachal Pradesh, following severe floods. Ranaut demands transparent details of fund utilization and a strategic plan for handling the natural disasters impacting the region.
