A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in Southeast Delhi after a stray dog was found mutilated, allegedly following a brutal sexual assault. The incident has sparked outrage among locals and animal rights groups demanding immediate action.
The complaint, filed by NGO Gau Gyan Foundation, revealed that images and videos of the dog's carcass were discovered on Moti Masjid Road. The dog, regularly fed by a local resident, disappeared around July 20, only to be found dead with severe injuries on July 23.
The community suspects a group of drug addicts might be involved, as similar cases have been reported in recent months. Despite previous incidents, residents claim police action has been insufficient. The NGO has provided video evidence and urged the police to examine CCTV footage to identify those responsible.
