In an unexpected turn of events, six IT professionals were apprehended by the Excise Department for alleged drug consumption during a birthday celebration at a farmhouse near Hyderabad. The incident has sent ripples through the tech community.
The Excise State Task Force (STF), acting on precise intelligence, carried out the raid at the Chevella farmhouse on Saturday night. During the operation, authorities seized LSD blots, 20.21 grams of hashish, multiple liquor bottles, and three vehicles, detailed an official release.
Attendees were subjected to drug detection testing, all testing positive. Among those caught are six individuals from the IT sector, now in custody. Meanwhile, two others, including the farmhouse owner, remain elusive as investigations continue.
