A group of youths attempted to evade a substantial food bill at an eatery by placing a meat bone into a vegetable biryani dish. The incident occurred at Biryani Bay, located at Shastri Chowk, within the jurisdiction of the Cantonment Police Station.
The deception unfolded when restaurant staff called in the police, and CCTV footage revealed that one youth discreetly placed the bone into the dish after receiving it from another member of the group. This deliberate act aimed to avoid paying the bill, ranging between Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000, according to restaurant owner Ravikar Singh.
