In a shocking incident in Delhi's Farsh Bazar, two men have been arrested for allegedly snatching a pair of gold earrings from an 80-year-old woman near a temple, local authorities reported on Wednesday.

The brazen act took place on August 2 as the woman was returning from her prayers. The suspects, Suraj (28) and Neeraj alias Kashi (35), carried out the theft while on a motorcycle and managed to escape. However, law enforcement swiftly registered a case and launched an investigation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara), Prashant Gautam, revealed that CCTV footage played a crucial role in apprehending the culprits. The footage showed the duo on a silver motorcycle with modified plates to prevent identification. Further investigation led to their arrest and the recovery of the stolen earrings.
