A swift police operation led to the arrest of a man who absconded with Rs 13.65 lakh and an SUV from his employer, a Delhi-based coal trader. On Wednesday, authorities confirmed both the money and the vehicle had been recovered.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday, as the trader, Ayush Jain, was returning to Delhi. He stopped for a meal at a roadside dhaba on the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway. It was during this pause that his driver, Parmeshwar Yadav, seized the opportunity to escape with the vehicle and cash.

Circle Officer Ramashish Yadav reported that Parmeshwar Yadav was nabbed near the Sufeda Road underpass in Khatauli, following a complaint filed under Section 316 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. CCTV footage played a crucial role in apprehending the suspect.
