A court has delivered a life imprisonment verdict for a shocking crime, sentencing a woman and four accomplices for the murder of her husband. Their chilling attempt to hide the deed involved disfiguring the victim's body with acid, authorities revealed Wednesday.
The deceased, Dinesh Dhawan, was discovered in a drain on January 28, 2021, after initially being reported missing. Investigations uncovered that Dhawan's objections to frequent visits from Harjeet Pal Singh and Devendra Sharma to his home had incited his wife's ire, police report.
With the assistance of Vineet Saxena and Vicky, they conspired to murder Dhawan on January 18, 2021. Following intense interrogation prompted by Dhawan's brother's suspicions, the wife confessed, eventually leading to their arrest and sentencing by Sessions Judge Sandeep Garg.
