In a brazen daylight robbery, three suspects have been apprehended for looting gold and cash worth crores from the Manappuram Gold Loan office in Gurugram. The robbery occurred after five men entered the office posing as auditors and executed the heist at gunpoint, leaving staff assaulted.
Officials reported that the robbers made away with 323 out of 1,250 gold jewellery packets, amounting to gold valued at approximately Rs 9 crores, alongside Rs 8.56 lakh in cash. The audacious crime unfolded swiftly on a Saturday evening, with the assailants skillfully deceiving employees thanks to their fake ID cards.
Upon investigation, police arrested three individuals identified as Mohan, Sunil alias Sunny, and Rahul alias Behra. With ongoing efforts to nab other suspects, law enforcement remains vigilant, promising swift justice as they recover the stolen assets.
