Five members of a family residing in Hyderabad, hailing from Kalaburagi district, were tragically found deceased at their home on Thursday. The deaths are suspected to be the result of a suicide pact, according to local police reports.

The deceased have been identified as a 60-year-old man, his 55-year-old wife, their son-in-law, daughter, and two-year-old granddaughter. Neighbors discovered the grim scene and promptly alerted the authorities, prompting swift action by the Miyapur police.

Initial investigations suggest financial strain may have led to this tragic decision. The family reportedly moved to Hyderabad in 2019 and had been residing in a rented house in the Maqtha area for the past two years. Authorities continue to investigate while the bodies have been sent for further examination.
