A Delhi court has mandated the removal of social media posts deemed defamatory towards Foxhog Ventures India Ltd and its managing director. The decision comes after the financial consultancy brought a lawsuit against Sandeep Mohanty, alleging defamation.

Presided over by District Judge Satyabrata Panda, the court heard that Mohanty had disseminated disparaging content through platforms such as LinkedIn and YouTube. Upon evaluation, the court found these postings could harm the reputation of the plaintiffs.

In an August 14 order, the court instructed Mohanty to delete these posts and forbade him from publishing any further defamatory statements against the plaintiffs pending further orders.
