Tragic Altercation Turns Fatal in Sikkim
A tragic event unfolded in Sikkim's Pakyong district where a man allegedly killed his son with an iron rod following an argument. The father, Mani Bagdas, has been arrested, and the incident occurred at Rongli-Changeylakha. The son's body has been sent for autopsy.

A tragic incident rocked Sikkim's Pakyong district when a 52-year-old man allegedly killed his son, police reported on Friday.
The altercation occurred in Rongli-Changeylakha during the early hours, leading to the fatal attack. An argument between Mani Bagdas and his 25-year-old son Prasant turned violent around 1.30 am.
During the scuffle, Mani reportedly struck Prasant with an iron rod, resulting in his immediate death. The police have arrested the father and seized the weapon, while the son's body has been sent to STNM Hospital in Gangtok for a post-mortem.
