The establishment, allegedly operating as a brothel, drew the attention of law enforcement after a tip-off suggested illicit activities.

The operation, which took place on Friday night, targeted the Blue Lotus Spa Centre located in a private building in the Barrian area. Police swiftly moved in to quell the illegal operations suspected to be happening under the guise of a spa service, apprehending four women among those arrested.

The Udhampur police station has registered a case under relevant sections of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act as the investigation continues. The bust highlights ongoing efforts to curb illegal activities masquerading as legitimate businesses in the region.
