The explosion occurred in the Tirah Valley's Matur Dara area, located in Khyber district within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, along the Afghan border. Authorities clarified that the blast was due to explosives intended for bomb-making, countering rumors about aerial bombardments by Pakistani jets.
