In a shocking revelation, police sources disclosed that the deceased homeowner, Vijay Kumar Maurya, is accused of murdering the teenagers before his family committed suicide by setting themselves on fire.

The grim incident unfolded on Wednesday when Maurya allegedly called Sunny Verma, 14, and Suraj Yadav, 15, to his house, purportedly for harvesting garlic. The complaint filed by Hiralal, the uncle of one of the teenagers, alleged that Maurya slit their throats before locking his family in another room and setting the house ablaze.

Apart from registering an FIR against Maurya, police also named seven individuals for assault-related charges. While preliminary evidence suggests a chilling planned act, investigators await post-mortem reports to confirm the cause of deaths; details remain under wraps as the investigation continues.
