KCOCA Invoked in Brutal Murder: The Hunt for Justice

The Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) was invoked following the murder of Abdul Rahiman in Kuryal village. Rahiman was killed and another man injured in a violent attack. In a chilling case of organized crime, the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) has been applied following the murder of Abdul Rahiman in Kuryal village. Rahiman, 32, was brutally attacked and later succumbed to his injuries. Another victim, Kalander Shafi, was also gravely injured.

Authorities have arrested 13 individuals in connection with the murder, all of whom have been placed in judicial custody. However, Bharath Raj, also known as Bharath Kumdelu, is still absconding, with police intensifying their efforts to apprehend him.

This case has been charged under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), highlighting the serious criminal nature of the offenses involved. Given the systematic and organized nature of the suspects' activities, officials emphasized the necessity of invoking KCOCA for a thorough investigation.
