Family Feud Ends in Tragedy: Elderly Man Loses Life in Kerala

An elderly man, Kannan, was tragically killed after being attacked by his relative, Sreedharan, with a wooden log in Neeleswaram, Kerala. The altercation stemmed from ongoing familial disputes. Sreedharan has been arrested, and the Neeleswaram police have registered a case under relevant sections of criminal law.

An elderly man in Neeleswaram, Kerala, succumbed to injuries after a violent dispute with a relative. Identified as Kannan, 76, he was tragically attacked on Sunday evening by his neighbor and relative, Sreedharan.

The altercation between the two men reportedly stemmed from ongoing tensions between their families. According to official statements, Sreedharan trespassed into Kannan's property, attacking him with a wooden log, resulting in grave head injuries.

Kannan was rushed to Neeleswaram Taluk Hospital and subsequently transferred to Kanhangad Government District Hospital, where he later died. Police have arrested Sreedharan and filed charges including criminal trespass and murder under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
