A tragic accident unfolded in Peenya Dasarahalli, where a 23-year-old woman named Keertana lost her life due to a large tree falling on the two-wheeler she was riding as a pillion passenger.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening, attributed to strong winds and rain, according to local police reports. While Keertana suffered fatal injuries on the spot, the rider managed to escape without harm.

The same incident also left another biker, Bhaskar, injured, although he was promptly hospitalized. Fortunately, his daughter, who was also on the bike, emerged unscathed. The Soladevanahalli police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
