Dramatic Ranchi Gunfight Leads to Gangster Arrests

Three gangsters were apprehended by the police following a gunfight in Ranchi. The altercation began when police attempted to interrogate a suspect on a motorcycle, leading to a shootout that injured one gangster. All suspects are linked to the KSS gang, and weapons were confiscated.

In a dramatic turn of events, three notorious gangsters were taken into custody after a fierce gunfight with police in Ranchi on Monday. This confrontation, which resulted in one of the armed criminals sustaining injuries, occurred in the early hours, reported a senior officer.

The clash erupted at around 3.30 am in Balsiring, under Tupudana police's watch, as law enforcement conducted vehicle checks based on a tip-off about a potential criminal plot. A motorcycle without a number plate raised suspicion, leading officers to seize a pistol from the rider.

Upon interrogation, the suspect disclosed his affiliation with the Koylaanchal Shanti Samiti (KSS) gang, headed by Sujeet Sinha, and revealed two accomplices nearby. Police located the others, who resisted arrest by opening fire but were apprehended after a shootout. The injured gangster is receiving treatment at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences.
