Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has pledged to bolster the police force, focusing on their security and familial welfare.
In a speech at the Police Commemoration Day, Naidu highlighted Rs 33 crore spent on police healthcare and Rs 23 crore for insuring deceased policemen's families. With the recruitment of 6,100 constables finalized, the Chief Minister assured timely promotions for officers.
Addressing technology's role in crime prevention, Naidu urged police to curb cyber crimes and manage social media's growing challenges. He mentioned a USD 15 billion investment by Google in Vizag, attributing it to the state's stable security. Paying homage to fallen officers, Naidu lauded their sacrifice and commitment to public service.
