Honoring Bravery: Tripura CM Pays Tribute to Fallen Police Personnel
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha honors the courageous police personnel who sacrificed their lives in service between September 2024 and August 2025. In a solemn ceremony at the AD Nagar Police Line in Agartala, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha paid heartfelt tributes to police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty. The event, part of Police Commemoration Day, was witnessed by senior officers including Chief Secretary JK Sinha and DGP Anurag Dhankar.
Addressing the attendees, CM Saha lauded the bravery and commitment of the security personnel in safeguarding the nation. He disclosed that 191 police personnel nationwide sacrificed their lives between September 2024 and August 2025, highlighting the ultimate sacrifices made by these heroes.
Special mention was made of the two brave individuals from Tripura, Sub Inspector David Darlong, and Tripura State Rifles' jawan Milan Debbarma. The Chief Minister expressed his hope that security forces will continue to uphold their courage and valor. Saha also took time to meet with the families of the fallen heroes, offering his condolences and support.
