Tragedy Strikes as Four Villagers Fatally Run Over by Train in Bihar

Four people from Rahua village, including a mother and daughter, died after being hit by a train in Begusarai, Bihar. The tragic accident happened as they attempted to cross the tracks. Authorities have identified the deceased and informed their families while proceeding with post-mortem examinations.

A tragic incident unfolded late Wednesday night when four individuals from Rahua village were struck by a train in Bihar's Begusarai district. Among the deceased were a woman and her young daughter.

According to Sintu Kumar, SHO of the Sahebpur Kamal police station, the episode took place on the Barauni-Katihar railway section.

The victims were returning from a local fair and were attempting to cross the tracks at the time the Amrapali Express was passing. Police have identified the deceased and expedited post-mortem procedures. Families have been duly notified.
