In a tragic turn of events, a minor neighborhood dispute in Shamli district led to the death of a man named Idrees, authorities reported on Thursday. The confrontation involved two groups from different communities, sparking intense clashes.
Additional SP Santosh Kumar Singh provided details, revealing that the fatal incident occurred within Jhinjhana police station's jurisdiction. The clash was reportedly between Vikas and Irfan, both living in the same vicinity, over the disposal of construction rubble.
The altercation escalated when Idrees was beaten with an iron rod, resulting in his untimely death. Ajit, an Army personnel, has been arrested, and a manhunt is underway to apprehend others involved. Police have tightened security, deploying extra forces amidst local protests demanding justice.
