Tragedy Strikes: Mother and Daughter Perish in Tyre Shop Blaze

A devastating fire broke out in a tyre shop in Banda district, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the death of a woman and her daughter. The incident, caused by a short circuit, also left two other family members severely injured. A detailed investigation is ongoing.

A tragic fire claimed the lives of a woman and her young daughter in Banda district, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday evening, local authorities reported.

The fire erupted around 8 pm at a tyre shop due to what is believed to be a short circuit, according to Circle Officer Sourabh Singh. Shop owner Ramnihor Sahu, along with his family, were caught in the blaze.

Sahu, his wife Sangeeta, son Anshu, and daughter Chhavi all suffered severe burns. While the police promptly transported the injured to a nearby hospital, Sangeeta and Chhavi tragically died during treatment. Both Sahu and Anshu remain in critical condition. The police have sent the bodies for a postmortem, and a detailed investigation is underway.
