Ambulance Bust: Police Nab Illegal Liquor Transporter in Delhi

A dramatic chase led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man named Ritik in Delhi, tied to the illegal transport of alcohol. Authorities captured him while transporting illicit liquor in an ambulance on the Dwarka Expressway.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka), Ankit Singh, 1,400 quarters and 84 bottles of illicit alcohol were recovered, including Royal Stag and Royal Green brands. The ambulance, used for the contraband supply, has been seized by authorities.
Ritik allegedly sourced the booze from Haryana and attempted to market it in Delhi. A case has been filed under the Delhi Excise Act, and this operation marks a successful crackdown on the unlawful liquor trade in the region.
