Tragedy in Sudan: Volunteers Among The Fallen

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) announced a tragic loss on Tuesday, reporting that five of its volunteers were killed in Sudan.
The volunteers were attacked in Bara city during a noble mission, distributing food and clearly identifiable by their official vests. Details of the attack remain undisclosed, and no parties have been held accountable so far.
In addition to the fatalities, three other Red Cross volunteers are currently unaccounted for, raising further concerns over the safety and security of aid workers operating in conflict zones.
