Gujarat's Digital Leap: 'One State, One Portal' Initiative

The Gujarat Administrative Reforms Commission submitted its fifth report to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, recommending a 'One State, One Portal' digital framework to streamline bureaucratic procedures.

Chaired by Dr Hasmukh Adhia, the commission was tasked with suggesting governance reforms. The newly submitted report features 12 key recommendations, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of simplifying citizen services via technological advancement.

Highlights include the creation of a Digital Gujarat 2.0 portal for seamless citizen-government interaction, a smart alert system for social welfare schemes, and upgraded Jan Seva Kendras, all aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency across the state.
