Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has called for meticulous implementation of internal reservations for Scheduled Castes (SCs) to guarantee fairness and avert inequalities among communities.
In a detailed review meeting, Siddaramaiah urged government officials to adhere strictly to cabinet decisions and address any grievances arising from the roster implementation.
The meeting reinforced following Supreme Court guidelines and discussed lifting recruitment bans and temporarily increasing the candidate age limit. As the government treads cautiously, Minister Priyank Kharge emphasized formulating a well-rounded bill that withstands judicial scrutiny.
