Heist at Ex-Minister's Home: Key Documents Vanish

In Maharashtra's Jalgaon district, police have registered a case involving the theft of valuables amounting to Rs 6.2 lakh from the residence of former minister Eknath Khadse. The incident saw not only the disappearance of cash and gold jewellery but also critical documents linked to corruption cases.
The burglary occurred at Khadse's bungalow located in the Ramanand Nagar area, with the theft officially reported on Monday. Along with the valuable items, Khadse further claimed that significant CDs, pen drives, and documents were missing, leading him to file an additional complaint with the Jalgaon police on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, Khadse expressed concerns over the theft of essential documents obtained through the Right to Information Act, highlighting their relation to corruption cases and irregularities. He noted that only the less important documents were left untouched.
