Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a visit to the border village of Milam in Pithoragarh district on Wednesday, holding discussions with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) stationed there.
He commended the ITBP personnel for their unwavering dedication to serving the nation.
During his visit, Dhami interacted with locals, inquiring about developmental progress. He highlighted the 'Vibrant Village' program, initiated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, aimed at comprehensive development in border regions.
The chief minister reiterated his administration's focus on enhancing infrastructure in border villages, specifically in road networks, communication, education, and healthcare.
Dhami also unveiled plans for future projects, including constructing an indoor stadium in Munsyari, beautifying the Nanda Devi temple in Milam, and establishing a community center in Bilju village.
