The Delhi Police has set a precedent by being the first law enforcement agency to conduct a specialized workshop aimed at countering the growing issue of vaping and new-age nicotine devices.
The workshop, named "Enforcement in the Digital Age: Tackling the Vape Culture Among Youth," took place at the Delhi Police Academy in Rajinder Nagar in partnership with the Mothers Against Vaping movement.
Dr. Rajesh Gupta highlighted that although these seemingly harmless products attract youths, they are, in fact, dangerous gateways to addiction. The event stressed the importance of updated enforcement methods to combat the digital promotion and disguised sales of such products.
