Rallying for Justice: Naga Community Seeks Swift Action in Brutal Murder Case

Organized by the Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO), the rally featured participants donned in traditional tribal attire, carrying banners demanding justice. Leaders from various community groups condemned the brutal crime, voicing support for immediate and comprehensive intervention.

Notably, the victim was a rising athletic star, representing both district and state basketball teams. Rally leaders submitted a memorandum to authorities, urging for decisive prosecution under Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023 to prevent further gender-based violence.
