Multiple courts across Delhi and two CRPF-operated schools were the targets of bomb threats on Tuesday morning, sparking widespread security measures throughout the city, officials reported.
Authorities were alerted by an email supposedly from a terror module, claiming that explosives had been planted at court premises, leading to immediate surveillance. A meticulous sweep was conducted by bomb disposal units and local police teams in the district court complexes.
Similarly, a call was made to the Police Control Room, alleging that bombs were placed in CRPF schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka, leading to evacuations and thorough checks. Both threats were later confirmed as hoaxes. The episodes are being probed, especially given the recent Red Fort explosion with alleged links to a Faridabad terror module.
