Ricin Plot Suspect Injured in Sabarmati Jail Scuffle

Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed, recently apprehended by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad for his alleged involvement in a ricin terror plot, was reportedly injured during an altercation inside Sabarmati Central Prison.
Saiyed, an MBBS doctor from Hyderabad, was among three suspects arrested for planning a terrorist attack using weapons and poison. The prison authorities have confirmed his safety and requested the police to file an FIR.
Local law enforcement is investigating the incident as part of the broader probe into the planned attack. The ATS has conducted searches at Saiyed's residence, seizing chemicals linked to the plot.
