The Delhi Police have successfully unraveled a high-value theft involving Rs 42.39 lakh from a mobile wholesale shop located in Karol Bagh, following the arrest of an implicated employee. Officials confirmed that the theft was orchestrated with insider help, facilitated by advanced facial recognition technologies.

The robbery was initially reported via an e-FIR filed by the shop owner, who discovered the stolen cash after the shop's rear window was found broken. CCTV footage revealed four individuals entering the premises at around 2.15 am on November 5, followed by a swift exit 35 minutes later. These clues led police to trace the suspects' movements, further supported by call record analyses.

An employee named Suraj, later arrested, admitted to conspiring with the suspects and providing internal information about the cash holdings. His confession and phone records linked him to other suspects, leading to the recovery of part of the stolen amount. While operations continue to nab the remaining perpetrators, the case highlights the critical role of technology in modern policing.
