The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation hosted the first multilingual Sujal Gram Samvad, connecting villagers from 12 states and Union Territories to share their experiences with enhanced water management under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Villagers narrated how safe tap water has curbed diseases, improved school attendance for girls, reduced the burden of water collection, and bolstered livelihoods. Stories also highlighted community efforts in maintaining and protecting water resources.

Technical guidance from district administrations and state missions, coupled with local initiatives, have amplified the mission's success. Regular dashboard use, technical training for youth, and strong source protection were emphasized to sustain these improvements.
