Anmol Bishnoi, a notorious gangster linked to several high-profile crimes, including the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, is being extradited to India from the United States, according to police sources. His extradition follows complex negotiations and a multi-agency operation aimed at ensuring justice is served.

Bishnoi is not only wanted for the Siddique murder but also for a related violent incident at Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence. Having operated between the US and Canada, Bishnoi was allegedly traveling on a forged Russian passport when detained, leading to his deportation to India.

The Mumbai police, who have submitted two extradition requests, aim to take Bishnoi into custody to face numerous charges under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). The final decision on his custody rests with the Union government, as Bishnoi's criminal activities span nationwide.
