A 32-year-old laborer has succumbed to injuries following an assault rooted in a monetary dispute, local authorities reported. The incident took place in Pachpera Pukha, near the Barkheda police jurisdiction.
According to police accounts, the altercation erupted Sunday night when the victim, identified as Badshah, went to collect a debt from his fellow villager, Ramprasad.
As tensions escalated, Ramprasad and his sons allegedly attacked Badshah with sticks, causing severe injuries leading to his demise. Questions arise regarding the delayed police response, as Badshah's family claims the authorities were alerted soon after the assault.
