On Monday, the Worli police arrested Anant Garje, the personal assistant to Maharashtra minister Pankaja Munde, following allegations related to his wife's dramatic demise. Dr. Gauri Palve, who was a dentist, reportedly took her own life over the weekend, raising numerous questions about her domestic life.
According to police reports, Palve's father lodged a complaint accusing Garje of domestic harassment and infidelity, leading to her tragic end. The police have identified a marital discord as a potential catalyst, with accusations of an extramarital affair intensifying the allegations.
Amid growing public interest, Palve's uncle has disputed the suicide narrative, suggesting foul play and urging the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to intervene. The family is also calling for a secret postmortem to ensure a thorough probe into what they believe could be a murder case.
