The Delhi Police have apprehended Bandhu Man Singh, a suspect tied to the shooting at comedian Kapil Sharma's restaurant in Canada. Singh is believed to have facilitated the attackers logisticlly, according to officials.
Reports indicate Singh fled Canada after charges were brought against him there. Captured in Ludhiana, his capture exposes connections to Canada-based gangster Goldy Dhillon. Dhillon, implicated in international extortion rackets, allegedly used Singh as a collaborator in a scheme to target the artist in August.
Officers recovered a Chinese pistol and cartridges during Singh's arrest. Investigations are expanding to identify further conspirators and explore the gang's operations across national borders.
