CBI Arrests Professor in Uttarakhand Exam Paper Leak Scandal
The CBI has arrested an assistant professor from Shaheed Srimati Hansa Dhanai Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya for alleged involvement in the Uttarakhand exam paper leak. The professor, Suman, is accused alongside two others. The scandal led to the cancellation of the exam affecting over one lakh candidates, prompting protests.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended an assistant professor from Shaheed Srimati Hansa Dhanai Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Tehri Garhwal, on allegations of involvement in leaking the Uttarakhand graduate level examination paper, officials announced on Friday.
Identified as Suman, the accused was detained along with Mohd Khalid and his sister Sabiha after CBI took charge of the investigation following a recommendation from the Uttarakhand government. Investigators linked Suman to the crime during the interrogation and after examining the mobile devices of Khalid and Sabiha.
The fraudulent dissemination of the question paper during the examination, later canceled by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission, sparked widespread outrage among the aspirants, culminating in a demand for a CBI probe.
